Solution for "Verb UNLOCK is not in your VOC"

Add UNLOCK Command in VOC File and Unlock Datastage Jobs -Using Administrator Client :DK®

When trying to clear a job lock from UV you see the error "Verb 'UNLOCK' is not in your VOC".

Solution Of the problem:DK®

Need the UNLOCK command added to your Project VOC
The unlock command is not available by default in the projects.
Log into the Administrator Client then select your project and click the command button.

To create an entry to use the unlock command, execute the following two commands:
>SET.FILE UV VOC UV.VOC
>COPY FROM UV.VOC TO VOC UNLOCK


To unlock by either INODE or User No use the commands:
UNLOCK INODE #inodenumber ALL
UNLOCK USER #usernumber ALL
OR
UNLOCK INODE #inodenumber USER #usernumber ALL


Unlock Datastage Jobs -Using Administrator Client:DK®

  1.  Log into Administrator (as dsadm user id).
  2.  Select the Project to Start the Activity.
  3.  Open the Command line for the project selected at point 2
  4.  Execute “LIST.READU EVERY
  5.  Identify the values for INODE and USER columns for the job for which the locks need to be released.
  6.  Execute UNLOCK INODE #inodenumber#> ALL
  7.  UNLOCK USER #user no# ALL
  8. .You can execute UNLOCK INODE #inodenumber USER #usernumber ALL as well to skip point 6,7.
